Our clients sustained serious injuries while riding as passengers in a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The collision was caused when Jonathan Torres drove a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at high speed into the rear of our client’s 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado was owned by Guillermina Munoz. The couple was taken emergently to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas. The husband passed away at the hospital the day after the collision. The Estate sought and received policy limits from the defendant, owner of the Silverado, and the couple’s UIM coverage.
