Under Colorado ski law, downhill skiers have the right of way. The defendant, skiing from uphill, violated this rule by launching off a jump from the wooded edge of the run and entering the trail airborne. He collided directly into the back of G.S., causing significant injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of this skier-on-skier collision, G.S. suffered a torn ACL that required surgical repair.
